Saratoga Springs, NY -- Opera Saratoga, in partnership with the literary organization Words After War, will present a writing workshop to civilians, veterans and military families today and tomorrow, July 11 and July 12, 2015 at The New York State Military Museum in Saratoga Springs, NY. The two-day event will be held in conjunction with the world premiere of The Long Walk, by Composer Jeremy Howard Beck and Librettist Stephanie Fleischmann. The opera is based upon the critically acclaimed memoir of war and homecoming by Brian Castner.

Signature Theatre has announced casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for the world premiere of John, written by Pulitzer Prize winner Annie Baker (The Flick) and directed by Tony Award winner Sam Gold (Fun Home).

The American Theatre Wing and the Village Voice welcome a star-studded line-up of presenters at the 60th Annual OBIE Awards. As previously announced, OBIE Award-winning actress Lea DeLaria ('Orange is the New Black') will host this year's OBIE Awards ceremony, being held tonight, May 18, 2015 at Webster Hall (125 East 11th Street).

The American Theatre Wing and the Village Voice are thrilled to announce that the star-studded line-up of presenters at the 60th Annual OBIE Awards will include Sting, Jesse Eisenberg, OBIE Award-winner Stockard Channing, Billy Crudup, two-time OBIE Award-winner Tommy Tune, T.R.
