North Carolina Theatre, the region's premiere nonprofit professional regional theatre producing professional Broadway musical revivals, presents Next to Normal, playing tonight, May 1 to May 10, 2015 at A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater in the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.

This Thursday, April 9th, Broadway Sessions welcomes the 2015 graduating class from CCM and special guest alums.

Jackie Burns (If/Then, Hair, Wicked), Ariana DeBose (Hamilton, Pippin, Motown the Musical), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), Meghann Fahy (Next to Normal), Lauren Ashley Zakrin (Rock of Ages), Corey Mach (Godspell, Wicked National Tour, RENT National Tour), Ryan Vasquez (Wicked), Mike Schwitter (Pippin) and Taylor Noble (A Lasting Impression, Chautaugua!) round out the lineup for previously announced benefit concert for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital tonight, April 6th at Highline Ballroom.

Everybody's playing the game - again!

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven- o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of At This Performance… to be held on Monday, March 9th at The Lion Theatre, 410 West 42ndStreet at 7 PM.

In January, twenty of the brightest talents on Broadway were featured in Broadway Sings P!NK, the latest concert in the Broadway Sings concert series. The tribute concerts take the music of well-known music icons and create new, unique arrangements and orchestrations by twisting the style to fit the strength of the performer. Previous concerts have included Adele, Stevie Wonder, and Justin Timberlake; this May, producer Corey Mach (Godspell, Wicked) and music directorJoshua Stephen Kartes will present Broadway Sings Bruno Mars. Rob McClure, who stars in Broadway's Honeymoon in Vegas, will return to New Milford High School for a benefit concert Feb. 23 in New Jersey.

Broadway Sings, the concert series honoring pop stars with a Broadway twist, concluded its seventh installment on Sunday, January 25, at (le) Poisson Rouge. Some of Broadway's brightest talents sang completely new arrangements of the hits of pop superstar P!NK, accompanied by a 10-piece band playing brand new, original orchestrations of the singer's greatest songs.
