Queen Theatrical Productions, Tribeca Theatrical Productions, Phil McIntyre Entertainment and NETworks Presentations just announced casting is complete for the first North American tour of Queen and Ben Elton's We Will Rock You. The 'rock theatrical', built around 24 of Queen's biggest hits, will launch a national tour in Baltimore, MD, at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center, in October 2013.

Due to strong ticket sales, the New York Musical Theatre Festival has added a performance on Monday, October 3 at 5:00pm to the new musical THE KID WHO WOULD BE POPE - a musical comedy about first loves, youthful obsession, and the search for miracles.

Indie-folk band Lucinda Black Bear will perform live at The Mercury Lounge on Sunday, January 30th at 7:00 PM. Eastern Spurs Records has also announced that it will re-release Knives, the band's sophomore album, on the same day.
