Buddy-The Buddy Holly Story claims to be' the most successful rock n' roll musical of all time', and with good reason.

Travel back in time when the musical Buddy -- The Buddy Holly Story comes to the Jones Hall stage for three performances, presented by Society for the Performing Arts. Performances will be at 8 p.m., tonight, Feb. 6; and 2 and 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 7.

As the world remembers the 56th anniversary of the plane crash that killed Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper and Richie Valens, The Tobin Center shared the life and death of Buddy Holly in a very special February 3rd commemoration.

Wareham in association with Boebe Productions are thrilled to present the first show of their 2014-2015 season, BUDDY - THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY, featuring over twenty of Buddy Holly's and rock & roll's greatest hits and directed by Steve Steiner (who directed last season's smash-hit production of RING OF FIRE). 'Oh Boy! To have our theatre rocking out to the songs of such greats as Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper is going to be music to the ears of our audiences and subscribers this Summer,' offers Wood. 'We are overjoyed to be partnering with Steve Steiner and Boebe Productions again and know they are going to blow the roof off the Playhouse with this spectacular telling of one of the most enduring stories in rock & roll history,' adds Wareham. BUDDY - THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY will begin previews today, July 9and will open on Saturday, July 12 at 7:30pm and run through Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

For two nights only, Cortland Repertory Theatre will presents a concert by 'The Rave-Ons', America's Traveling Buddy Holly Tribute Band led by Todd Meredith, who starred in CRT's hit 2013 musical 'Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story'. The concert will be held toight, May 2 and Saturday May 3 at 7:30 PM at 19 Church Street in Cortland, the former United Community Church. Seating is General Admission, and tickets are $30 per person. The concert is sponsored by The Overhead Door Company of Cortland and hosted by the CRT Board of Directors.
