Reg Rogers-Led AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE Begins Tonight at Yale Rep

Yale Repertory Theatre opens its 2017-18 season with An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen, newly translated from the Norwegian by Paul Walsh, directed by James Bundy, tonight, October 6, through October 28 at Yale University Theatre (222 York Street). Opening Night is Thursday, October 12.

BWW Review: UNNECESSARY FARCE at Playhouse On Park

Lately, there have been a lot of slamming doors on Park Road in West Hartford. In its latest production, UNNECESSARY FARCE by Paul Slade Smith, Playhouse on Park gives audiences a fun romp filled with mistaken identities, the Scottish mafia, bumbling crooks (and equally bumbling police officers) and as mentioned, slamming doors - eight of them to be exact.

John Wesley Shipp in TWELVE ANGRY MEN Opens Tonight at Judson Theatre Company

 Tonight is Opening Night for Twelve Angry Men at Judson Theatre Company (Morgan Sills, Executive Producer and Daniel Haley, Artistic Director). Two-time Emmy winning Broadway and Television star John Wesley Shipp,currently on the CW's The Flash, plays the iconic role of Juror #8. Twelve Angry Men opens tonight at 7:00 pm and runs through Sunday, September 25 at Owens Auditorium on the campus of Sandhills Community College, located at 3395 Airport Road in Pinehurst.

Montana Rep's ALL MY SONS Coming to the MAC, 3/5

The Montana Repertory Theatre production of Arthur Miller's classic, "All My Sons" comes to the McAninch Arts Center, located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage, Saturday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. "Told against the single setting of an ordinary American backyard, it is a pitiless analysis of character that gathers momentum all evening and concludes with both logic and dramatic impact" (New York Times). This award-winning drama helped launch the successful and critically acclaimed career of one of America's greatest 20th-century playwrights.

Bristol Riverside Theatre to Stage BUS STOP, 9/29-10/18

Bristol Riverside Theatre opens its 2015-2016 season with the classic romantic comedy Bus Stop by Pulitzer Prize-winner William Inge, running September 29-October 18.  Directed by Susan D. Atkinson, the ensemble cast features Broadway veteran Mark Jacoby joined by Mike Boland, Linda Elizabeth, Barbara McCullough, Bruce Sabath, David Sitler, Grant Struble, and Jessica Wagner.

Well, if you're Libby Tucker you hitch hike and bus your way across the country with nothing but a backpack full of dreams and spare socks. Libby travels from Brooklyn to Los Angeles ostensibly to break into movies but mostly because she needs to find out why her dad and left, and does he still love her.
