getTV, Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks' new U.S. digital broadcast television network, showcasing Hollywood's most memorable films from the 1930s through the 1960s, is launching today in more than 44 percent of the U.S. television households.

From the field, the press box and the locker room, former radio and television sportscaster, Walt Brown, brought the plays and the players into the homes of millions of people. In his new book, 'A Fly on the Wall,' Walt Brown reflects on a lifetime of observing and meeting the greatest celebrities and their events of the last 50 years. From Willie Mays in the outfield, to Indy-car drivers, to football's 'Game of the Century,' he's been through it all. 'Celebrities often put up a different front for the public,' said Brown. 'You can really get to know your heroes as humans when you've got the advantage of being the third party in the room.'

Legendary Comedian Buddy Hackett is brought to life in this live musical, theatrical production, told by the person closest to him… his son, Sandy Hackett. 'MY BUDDY" premieres at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts January 16-19.

The Princeton Symphony Orchestra is celebrating 10 years of Broadway POPS! with a concert starring Michael Feinstein, master of The Great American Songbook, on Saturday, February 8, at 8 pm at Richardson Auditorium on Princeton University Campus. The concert continues a tradition of quality pops programming featuring top Broadway artists accompanied by the PSO, and will be conducted by Sam Kriger.

The Palm Springs Cultural Center announces a new addition to its annual line-up of cultural programs and special events -- The Stanley Kramer Film Festival will debut at Camelot Theatres today, November 15th and run through Sunday, November 17th. The 2013 event, which is designed to coincide with other Stanley Kramer Centennial events taking place this year, will include special screenings of six of Stanley Kramer's best-known films. It will also feature special events, and special appearances with actress Karen Sharpe Kramer, Stanley Kramer's widow, and his daughter, the actress and singer, Katharine 'Kat' Kramer.
