Today, the producers of "Spamilton," the critically acclaimed parody of "Hamilton," announced that select tickets to the Chicago production are available for Tuesday and Wednesday evening performances for $35.  The critically hailed production is now playing in an open-ended run at the Royal George Theatre (1641 N. Halsted).

The Revival, Hyde Park's comedy theater, announces its lineup of shows and events playing in June 2017.

Porchlight Music Theatre's School at Porchlight launches its inaugural summer camp for children ages 7 - 12 years old.

"Spamilton," the critically acclaimed off-Broadway parody of Lin-Manuel Miranda's sensation, "Hamilton," begins previews tonight at the Royal George Theater (1641 N. Halsted).

"Spamilton," the critically acclaimed off-Broadway parody of Lin-Manuel Miranda's sensation, "Hamilton," has set casting for its regional premiere in Chicago at the Royal George Theatre (1641 N. Halsted). Created by Tony Award honoree Gerard Alessandrini, the mastermind behind "Forbidden Broadway," the show features an all-Chicago ensemble including Donterrio Johnson, Adam LaSalle, Michelle Lauto, Eric Andrew Lewis, Yando Lopez and David Robbins. "Spamilton" begins performances Friday, March 3 at the Royal George Theatre's Cabaret/Studio Theatre.

Firebrand Theatre, the first musical theatre company committed to employing and empowering women by expanding opportunities on and off the stage, is pleased to announce its inaugural season, featuring two fully-produced musicals. In tribute to the original New Faces series that ran on Broadway and on film from 1934 - 1968, Porchlight Music Theatre last year created this Chicago musical revue series, New Faces Sing Broadway, as a showcase for the best emerging musical talent now performing on Chicago stages. Each edition is a journey from the start to the finish of a entire musical season on Broadway, peppered with photos and films of the era in an exciting multimedia presentation with a favorite Chicago theatre veteran hosting and introducing the next generation of music theatre artists and acting as your guide through a past season on the Great White Way. Belmont Ave. The  performance times are Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 4 and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. with an added Thursday matinee, October 6 at 1:30 p.m. There is no 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6. RETURN ENGAGEMENT:  After two sold-out performances earlier this year, Nancy Hays (as Judy Garland) and Michelle Lauto (as Liza Minnelli) are bringing "JUDY & LIZA - ONCE IN A LIFETIME" back to the Uptown Underground on Sunday, October 9th at 7 p.m., in an expanded version with even more songs. This cabaret show is a re-creation of the famed concert presented by the legendary mother-daughter duo of Judy Garland and an 18-year-old Liza Minnelli in 1964 at the London Palladium.  This tribute features the classic songs, costumes, dialogue and dance steps to help the audience re-live the historic occasion, with solos like "The Man That Got Away", "Just in Time" and "Gypsy in My Soul" and duets like "Chicago" and "Get Happy/Happy Days", backed by a jazz combo with orchestral arrangements by Robert Ollis (music director and pianist).
