Primary Stages closed its celebratory 25th Anniversary Season by proudly announcing the naming of its School of Theater in honor of founding board members Marvin and Anne Einhorn last week on April 16. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the ceremony. The school will now be officially known as Primary Stages Marvin and Anne Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA). Twenty-five years after helping to found Primary Stages, Marvin and Anne Einhorn continue to serve the theater company and still report to duty each day at the Primary Stages office. They personify the renowned theater company's fierce and unwavering commitment to producing exciting work Off-Broadway.

Damsel was read in the Bridge Theatre Company's new work series, as well as Visiting Hours, which was also a Finalist in the Premiere Stages New Play Festival and a Finalist for the Christopher Wolk Award at the Abingdon Theatre Company. He has had his plays produced at the Samuel Beckett Theatre in New York, the Tamarind Theatre in Los Angeles, Other awards and nominations include The Short Fall (2002 Finalist at the Lark), Love A Nurse (Finalist at the New Harmony Project), and his one-act, feet of clay (Finalist for the Heidemann Award at the Actors' Theatre of Louisville) won the 2004 Samuel French One-Act Competition and is published by Samuel French in its 29th Edition of Festival Plays. His short film, Feet of Clay, directed by True Blood (HBO) actress Carrie Preston, made the rounds of festivals including Miami's Gay and Lesbian Film Festival '07.
