Jane Monheit, VOICES OF BROADWAY, Dar Williams and More Set for Usdan Center's 2013 Festival Concerts

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, the nationally renowned not-for-profit day camp, whose alumni include such artists as Natalie Portman, Mariah Carey, Jane Monheit and members of major music and dance ensembles, announces its 2013 Festival Concerts. These are private educational performances staged in Usdan's on-site, 1,000-seat McKinley Ampitheater, giving students unique exposure to the arts.

The great fear of realizing that MOTHERHOOD OUT LOUD is a series of vignettes which look at varying phases of motherhood, is that it will turn out to be a Hallmark sentimental mindless experience. Fear not. The eighteen authors of the vignettes avoid making the experience sappy and purely entertaining. Instead, there is a balance of humor, pathos, and social commentary.

Community Theatre of Little Rock Presents THE SMELL OF THE KILL, Beginning 4/26

The Community Theatre of Little Rock continues its 57 Season with its Spring Dark Comedy 'The Smell of the Kill" by Michele Lowe. Show dates are April 26th, 27th, May 3rd, 4th, 10th and 11th at 7:30 pm and April 28th, May 5th and 12th at 2pm, to be held at the PUBLIC Theatre, located at 616 Center Street, next to Horn's Men's Store in downtown Little Rock.

Hunter Foster, Arielle Jacobs and Alexandra Silber to Lead INNER VOICES, 11/10

Premieres Artistic Director Paulette Haupt has announced that the company will present Inner Voices, an evening of three one-act solo musicals beginning Saturday, November 10 at 8pm, at 30th Street Theater, 259 West 30th Street. The opening is scheduled for Sunday, November 18 at 3pm.
