Beginning performances Sunday, July 5th, Wicked will welcome two-time Tony and Emmy Award nominee MICHELE LEE in the role of Madame Morrible. A veteran of the stage and screen, she is perhaps best known for her fourteen seasons as Karen Mackenzie on the landmark CBS television drama, 'Knots Landing.'

Just last night, Manhattan Theatre Club honored Executive Producer Barry Grove with a tribute on stage at the Samuel J. Friedman theatre, celebrating 40 years at MTC.  BroadwayWorld was there for the special night and you can check out photos below!

On Sunday May 17 at Catalina Jazz Club renowned actress/singer Michele Lee made her Los Angeles cabaret debut. Why has it taken this long? Barbara Cook's Spotlight Series at The Kennedy Center has served as an incredible showcase for some of Broadway's greatest talent to take a smaller stage. The first one I attended was 5 years ago when Laura Benanti took the stage. Since then, dozens of other brilliant performers have taken to the Terrace stage to share a different, more casual side.

Yesterday, The Tony Awards hosted 'Broadway in Hollywood,' a cocktail party to toast the Broadway community in Los Angeles. The night paid tribute to the honorees of past Tony Awards and friends from the Great White Way.
