The Broadway blockbuster WICKED is launching a new studio session video series, OUT OF OZ, featuring former and current stars of the hit musical performing reimagined versions of songs from Stephen Schwartz's beloved score.  The first video in the series launches today, Monday, October 19, with a new duet arrangement of Defying Gravity performed by former Fiyero, AARON TVEIT, and current Elphaba, RACHEL TUCKER.  The series will continue with all new videos in the coming weeks.

Author, Actor, Icon! Charles Busch Brings His One-Man Show to The COPA Palm Springs This Weekend

CHARLES BUSCH, author and star of such plays as Psycho Beach Party, Times Square Angel, The Lady in Question, Red Scare on Sunset, You Should Be So Lucky, Shanghai Moon and The Divine Sister brings his iconic Cabaret stylings to The COPA Palm Springs for two 'sure to be sell-out' performances, October 16 and 17 at 8:00 pm.   Born in New York City, he began his theatrical career shortly after graduating from Northwestern University in 1976.  After spending two years in Chicago working with different local theatre companies, he returned to his home town of New York City with a solo play called Hollywood Confidential, which he performed as a weekend late show at Charles Ludlam's Ridiculous Theatrical Company's theatre at One Sheridan Square.

Mark your calendars today for the fall's most anticipated anniversary and birthday celebration when the mega stars of Broadway and Cabaret come out to salute award-winning cabaret performer and Tony Award-winning producer Jamie deRoy when she celebrates the 25th anniversary of her Multi MAC award-winning Variety Show Jamie deRoy & friends, and her "40th annual 30th Birthday" on Monday, November 9th (7:30PM) at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College (899 10th Avenue at 59th Street.)  Proceeds from the evening will benefit The Actors Fund's new program, The Jamie deRoy & friends Cabaret Initiative.

West End Elphaba Rachel Tucker and Jonah Platt Join Broadway's WICKED Tonight

Beginning tonight, September 15, West End alumna RACHEL TUCKER joins the Broadway company of WICKED in the role of 'Elphaba'. After nearly three years and over 1,000 performances, Rachel holds the record for most consecutive performances as Elphaba in London's West End production. She made her Broadway debut last season as Meg Dawson in Sting's THE LAST SHIP.
