Baryshnikov Arts Center Presents Two BAC Salon Concerts in November

The Baryshnikov Arts Center will present two BAC Salon concerts in November, both in the intimate Howard Gilman Performance Space. On Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 7:30pm, BAC and Composers Now co-present Dialogues with Margaret Brouwer, Esperanza Spalding, and Du Yun and performances by Amy Schwartz Moretti, Blair McMillen, Michael Lipsey, Du Yun,and String Noise, moderated by Composers Now founder, artistic director, and composer Tania Leon.

Betty Buckley and Michele Lee to Play the RRazz Room This October

The RRazz Room is excited to announce the Fall Seasons in Philadelphia and New Hope that begin this week. The RRazz Room at the Raven in New Hope is an intimate jewel box space that seats 80. The RRazz Room at the Prince is located within Philadelphia's Arts District at the historic Prince Theater, and seats 148 at capacity. Come out and see your favorite artists Up Close & Personal.

With such award-winning Broadway, film and television stars as Betty Buckley and Tovah Feldshuh leading the way, The RRazz Room at the Prince is planning a blockbuster second season. Joining them through the fall in this second floor Black Box Theater, just off Avenue of the Arts in Philadelphia, will be Michele Lee, Andrea Marcovicci, Tom Wopat and Linda Purl, the Amazing Kreskin and many others.

Drury Lane Theatre opens its 2016-2017 season with the World Premiere musical comedy Hazel, A Musical Maid in America, based on the character from the Saturday Evening Post cartoon by Ted Key and the 1960s TV comedy series starring Shirley Booth. Hazel features a book by Lissa Levin, music by Ron Abel, and lyrics by Chuck Steffan. This new musical is directed and choreographed by Tony nominee and Emmy Award winner Joshua Bergasse with musical direction by Roberta Duchak.
