Michael Winther, vocals with Dan Tepfer, piano present 'Love Songs' Michael Winther sports a considerable history in Broadway and off-Broadway musicals, as well as a concert vocalist in and out of the Big Apple. His cabaret show at the Metropolitan Room reveals an amiable, fresh-faced vocalist whose theater background underlies his expressive delivery of the mixture of newer songs and standards. There's also a mischievous quality he brings to the fore with his medley of Harburg and Arlen's Down With Love and Cahn and Van Heusen's Love Is a Bore. There's plenty to admire about Michael Winther.
