The Metropolitan Room has announced their January schedule, and performers include Michael Winther, Annie Ross, Jenna Esposito, Joel Ginn, Tom D'Angelo, Rosalyn McClore, Gretchen Reinhagen, and more.

For three Mondays in January (4, 11, 18) Michael Winther (Mamma Mia, 1776, Songs From An Unmade Bed -- 2006 Drama Desk Nominee) teams up with the dynamic, acclaimed, jazz pianist, Dan Tepfer (2006 Montreux Jazz Festival Solo Piano Competition Winner and American Pianist’s Association 2007-2009 Cole Porter Fellow in Jazz) for a unique set of well-known standards, as well as contemporary popular songs that explores the intersection between jazz improvisation, musical theatre and popular music.

Annie Ross has been an abundant contributor to the art of jazz for over 50 years. Born in the UK, she has been a permanent resident of the USA for many years and a US citizen since 2001. She is set to perform at the Metropolitan Room every Tuesday in January at 9:30pm.

Ticket prices vary act to act, and can be purchased at www.metropolitanroom.com (a complete calendar of performers, dates, and times for January can also be found there).

The Metropolitan Room is located at 34 West 22 (between 5th and 6th Ave.).
