BWW Special Feature: In Conversation with EXTINCTION's James Roday & Michael Weston

It has been said that there is approximately only a 1 in 100th of a chance that a person will land a job working in theater in New York. The chances of working successfully in the industry are smaller than that. Sometimes, though, you meet people like EXTINCTION's James Roday (of the hit television series 'Psych') and Michael Weston ('House') who make you forget that the odds of doing so are not stacked so high - who make you truly believe that if one can simply 'find good material, do what you know and grow it into something bigger' (to quote Roday) that enriched careers in entertainment are truly achievable.

NEWSICAL Teams with American Red Cross Haitian Relief Fund to Collect Donations Thru 2/28

NEWSical the Musical rips apart and lampoons the politicians, celebrities, scandals, and newsmakers making headlines. Unfortunately, some news stories are too serious to laugh at. NEWSical has teamed with the American Red Cross Haitian Relief Fund and will be collecting donations following the performances through Feb 28th. For a show that is dominated by laughable headlines ("Balloon boy", "White House Crashers", "Jersey Shore", "Tiger Woods") NEWSical wants to do its part to help those in need.

TV Stars Roday, Weston, and Detmer Thrive on the LA Stage in EXTINCTION

What follows in Gabe McKinley's EXTINCTION, presented by Red Dog Squadron, is a dissection of life's changes and the ability to evolve, where the two characters bounce back and forth between the lure of maturity and reckless abandonment. The show offers riotous laughs, hard-hitting truths, and a brutally-riveting finale that literally takes your breath away.
