NEWSICAL Teams with American Red Cross Haitian Relief Fund to Collect Donations Thru 2/28
NEWSical the Musical rips apart and lampoons the politicians, celebrities, scandals, and newsmakers making headlines. Unfortunately, some news stories are too serious to laugh at. NEWSical has teamed with the American Red Cross Haitian Relief Fund and will be collecting donations following the performances through Feb 28th. For a show that is dominated by laughable headlines ("Balloon boy", "White House Crashers", "Jersey Shore", "Tiger Woods") NEWSical wants to do its part to help those in need.
Red Cross responders from eight countries are treating approximately 500 people each day at medical facilities throughout the capital city and providing relief supplies, such as hygiene kits, blankets, and water containers for up to 6,000 people daily.
