This weekend marks the first time the two have performed together professionally.

Cincinnati Symphony Welcomes AZ Opera's Keitaro Harada as Associate Conductor

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra announced that Keitaro Harada will join the CSO staff as Associate Conductor beginning in September 2015. Mr. Harada's duties will include assisting the conductors of the CSO, Cincinnati Pops and May Festival, conducting for all Young People's Concerts, the World Piano Competition, as well as select Lollipops, Pops subscription concerts and other local/regional performances, and representing the Orchestra in community engagement initiatives.

She is joined by pianist Yefim Bronfman and cellist Lynn Harrell for a chamber program featuring Beethoven's Piano Trio in B-flat Major, Op. 97, 'Archduke' and Tchaikovsky's Piano Trio in A Minor, Op. 50 tonight, April 14 at 8:00 p.m.

San Francisco, CA March 16, 2015 - The five-time Grammy Award-winning San Francisco Girls Chorus will give a free public performance Thursday, May 28, in the rotunda of San Francisco City Hall to celebrate the legacy of Elizabeth "Beth" Avakian, who will retire after 32 years as a beloved teacher and SF Girls Chorus School Director in June. During the course of more than three decades, Avakian has been responsible for the music education of thousands of girls and young women. The dedication, inspiration, professional values and joy of music she has inspired in them and their families and friends have influenced their careers in music and other fields and the community. Laura Claycomb to Replace Nicole Cabell in Philadelphia Orchestra's Performance at Stern Auditorium

Acclaimed soprano Laura Claycomb has agreed to step in for soprano Nicole Cabell, performing this Wednesday, March 18 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage with The Philadelphia Orchestra and conductor Maurizio Benini. This concert is the final event in mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato's season-long Perspectives series at Carnegie Hall. Ms. Claycomb will join Ms. DiDonato and tenor Lawrence Brownlee for a program of bel canto arias, ensembles, and orchestral selections. Donizetti's 'Havvi un Dio che in sua clemenza' from Maria di Rohan has been removed from the program. The full updated program is below. Ms. Cabell has cancelled Wednesday's appearance due to illness.

Baritone Mark Stone, in his New York Philharmonic debut, will replace Simon Keenlyside, who has withdrawn due to illness, in the performances of the U.S. Premiere of Thomas Ades's Totentanz, led by the composer in his Philharmonic conducting debut, and also featuring mezzo- soprano Christianne Stotijn in her Philharmonic debut.
