ArtsBergen Seeks Artists to Showcase on Construction Boards in Hackensack

ArtsBergen has issued a call for New Jersey artists to create a mural on a fence surrounding the construction site at 76 Main Street in Hackensack, New Jersey. ArtsBergen, an initiative of the Englewood-based Northern New Jersey Community Foundation, is working with the Hackensack Upper Main Street Alliance on the downtown beautification project, the Main Gateway Mural.

A Red Orchid Theatre announces additional Ensemble casting for its 2015-2016 season. Founding Ensemble Member and Oscar Nominee Michael Shannon joins Artistic Director Kirsten Fitzgerald on stage in the World Premiere of Pilgrim's Progress by Ensemble Member Bret Neveu. Seven Ensemble Members will appear together in Tennessee Williams' The Mutilated, including Lance Baker, Jennifer Engstrom, Mierka Girten, Steve Haggard, Shade Murray, Doug Vickers and Natalie West. Murray makes his A Red Orchid stage debut with The Mutilated.

Starring Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) nominee Michael Sheen and Emmy nominee Lizzy Caplan as real-life pioneers of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson, MASTERS OF SEX chronicles their unusual lives, romance and pop-culture trajectory. Masters and Johnson's research touched off the sexual revolution and took them from a mid-western teaching hospital in St. Louis to the cover of Time magazine. Donovan plays Graham, a confident scientist whose relationship with Margaret Scully (Allison Janney) brings them to Masters and Johnson's clinic.

THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE is a hip musical comedy which follows six young people in the throes of puberty, who are overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, as they learn that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser. At each performance, audience volunteers are selected and invited on stage to participate in the Bee, making each performance unique.
