Workshop Theater Company is pleased to announce the New York premiere production of LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN by WorkShop Theater Company Artistic Director and award-winning playwright Scott C. Sickles's, LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN, directed by Thomas Coté. LIGHTNING FROM HEAVEN will play a limited engagement on the Main Stage at WorkShop Theater (312 West 36th Street, 4th Floor). Performances of this love story begin on Valentine's Day Thursday, February 14 and continue through Saturday, March 9. Opening Night is Saturday, February 16 (8 pm). This is the first show in the inaugural season of TITAN, though the artistic management has three years of acclaimed production history in New York, previously producing under the name Promethean Theatre Company. As Promethean, the players were known for clear storytelling and young and exciting takes on classical works. As TITAN, the artists will continue this reputation, striding forward in its mission of creating raw, visceral, engaging, intelligent work; making the classics fresh and sexy.

Never Norman Rockwell, a new spin on the classic coming out story, begins its premiere at the 2010 Midtown International Theatre Festival July 16th, playing at the Beckett Theatre at Theater Row. Written by Kyle Baxter (the award-winning I Hate Love at MITF, Breeze Off the River at FringeNYC), Never Norman Rockwell is being presented at MITF by The Collective Objective in association with the Midtown International Theatre Festival, and is directed by Anthony Gargano (Initial Sin).
