SWITZERLAND Comes to MTC This Fall

Joanna Murray-Smith's acclaimed two-hander, Switzerland, comes to MTC with the stunning original cast of Sarah Peirse and Eamon Farren. Under the direction of newly appointed MTC Associate Director Sarah Goodes, this Sydney Theatre Company production opens at Southbank Theatre, the Sumner on Wednesday 21 September.

Artistic Director Rainee Denham and Chimera Ensemble are proud to present the Chicago premiere of Colette Freedman's Sister Cities, directed by Ashley Neal, August 20 - September 18 at The Den, 1333 N. Milwaukee.  Sister Cities runs Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Ticket prices are $22 - 26. Based on availability, industry tickets are $10 with a headshot and resume presented to the box office for all performances.  

MNM Productions' THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND Gets Carbonell Recommendation

MNM Productions today announced that its current production of THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND, a musical revue showcasing the music of legendary Broadway songwriters John Kander and Fred Ebb, has received "Recommended" status for the Carbonell Awards, South Florida's most prestigious award for professional theater.

THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND Preview to Benefit Local LGBTQ Churches

Marcie Gorman-Althof and Michael Lifshitz, the producing partners behind MNM Productions, today announced that the August 4th preview performance of THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND, a musical revue showcasing the music of legendary Broadway songwriters John Kander and Fred Ebb, will benefit the Metropolitan Community Church of the Palm Beach Gardens (MCCPB) and Joy MCC in Orlando. Both faith communities are dedicated to serving their local LGBTQ communities, which is particularly important since the horrific massacre last month at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

Theater for the New City Sets 7th Dream Up Festival Lineup

From August 28 to September 18, 2016 Theater for the New City (TNC), under the direction of Crystal Field, Artistic Director, will present its seventh Dream Up Festival, a feast of adventurous theater featuring new works from across the country and abroad. Helmed by the theater's Literary Manager, Michael Scott-Price, the festival offers 19 plays, all of which are world premieres or New York premieres.

MNM Productions today announced that its upcoming production of THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND, a musical revue showcasing the music of legendary Broadway songwriters John Kander and Fred Ebb, meets the eligibility requirements for consideration for the Carbonell Awards, South Florida's most prestigious award for professional theater. The show will run for 15 performances August 5-21 at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse in West Palm Beach.

Marcie Gorman-Althof and Michael Lifshitz, the producing partners behind MNM Productions, today named the five-person cast of THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND, a musical revue showcasing the music of legendary Broadway songwriters John Kander and Fred Ebb, including such audience favorite tunes as All That Jazz, My Coloring Book and New York, New York. Conceived by David Thompson, Scott Ellis and Susan Stroman, the show will run for 15 performances at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse in West Palm Beach, starting on Thursday, August 4, 2016.

Wilkinson Leads Copeland-directed CHICAGO for Nashville Rep

Musicals Tonight's DO RE MI Revival Begins Tonight

DO RE MI (1960) has music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Garson Kanin wrote the libretto and directed the production. DO RE MI opened on December 26, 1960, and ran for 400 performances.
