The Town Hall, Broadway?s landmark concert venue, presents the fifth annual Broadway Cabaret Festival, October 16th ? 18th. This three-concert series, created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel, takes place over one weekend and includes A Tribute to David Merrick on Friday, October 16th at 8PM, Linda Eder: All of Me on Saturday, October 17th at 8PM and Broadway Originals on Sunday, October 18th at 3PM. The festival showcases the talents of award-winning Broadway veterans and rising stars in a celebration of the Great White Way.

The BROADWAY ORIGINALS concert, which is set to be part of the three-day Broadway Cabaret Festival next month at Town Hall, will feature a tribute to William Finn's Tony-winning Falsettos. BROADWAY ORIGINALS will mark the finale of the Cabaret Festival weekend.

David Elzer, Peter Schneider and Crooning Crabcakes, LLC are thrilled to announce that the critically-acclaimed (LA Times CRITICS' CHOICE, Backstage CRITIC'S PICK, LA WEEKLY GO!) smash-hit world premiere production of LIFE COULD BE A DREAM, written and directed by Roger Bean (The Marvelous Wonderettes) with choreography by Lee Martino (Reprise On Your Toes, On The Town) and musical direction by Michael Paternostro (Kiss of the Spider Woman, Thrill Me) is EXTENDING through Sunday, October 25 at the Hudson Mainstage Theatre, 6539 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood.

The 54th Annual Drama Desk Awards were held tonight, Sunday, May 17, 2009 in the LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center. Drama Desk nominees received their official Nomination Certificates at a cocktail reception on Friday, May 1st at Il Bastardo restaurant, 191 Seventh Avenue (between 21st and 22nd Streets).

Country music star, CMA Winner, ACM Winner and four-time Grammy Nominee Joe Nichols has been offered the role made famous by George Strait in the Broadway production of the hit movie, Pure Country. According to producer Randall L. Wreghitt, the musical is in the process of securing the remainder of its financing and casting, and plans to open in early 2010.
