As Michael Riedel previously wrote in the NY Post, there is currently some tension between THE NORMAL HEART writer Larry Kramer and Barbra Streisand, who was set to direct a film version of the play back in 1986. Kramer responed with an email to Streisand that can be found at the NYP.
