With PETER PAN wrapped, NBC is bringing back THE SOUND OF MUSIC.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you some cabaret highlights for this week as picked by our theatre editors, including: Dorothy Bishop, Forever Deadward: The Vampire Musical Parody, The Von Trapp Children: From The Sound of Music Live!, the 7th Annual Joe Iconis Christmas Spectacular, and We Got You, Babe: 54 Shares Cher.

The Von Trapp Children of NBC's Sound of Music Live! will be coming to 54 Below on Dec. 17. The 9:30 PM concert will feature Ariane Rinehart (Liesl), Michael Nigro (Fredrich), Ella Watts (Louisa), Grace Rundhaug (Marta), Peyton Ella (Gretl), and standbys Meg Donnelly, Presley Ryan, Mia Sinclair Jenness. From starring in Justin Timberlake's "Mirrors" music video to Broadway's Les Miserables and more, these young actors are on the rise to stardom. Laura Luc will direct with music direction by Sinai Tabak.

Just last night, May 12, Tiffany Schleigh presented Cabaret for a Cause, a one-night-only event to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The speial event was held at Galapagos Art Space and was dedicated to Shannon Tavarez (The Lion King) (January 20, 1999-November 1, 2010).
