The West Coast Premiere of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, officially opened September 12 at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. Broadway World TV's Los Angeles Correspondent and Co-Producer Michael Sterling and Co-Producer Jerry Evans of JLE Media, Inc. were on hand for the red carpet festivities which included such celebrities as Jason Alexander, Rosanna Arquette, Simon Baker, Eric Balfour, Justin Bartha, Beth Behrs, Juie Bowen, Cher, Don Cheadle, Viola Davis, Heather Graham, Laura Dern, Jonathan Groff, Daryl Hannah, Kathy Griffin, Marica Gay Harden, John Hawkes, Lisa Kudrow, Diane Ladd, Tobey Maquire, Bill Maher, Garry Marshall, Julia Ormand, Dermot Mulroney, Carl Reiner, Parker Posey, Jane Seymour, and Alicia Silverstone. Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone were also in attendance. The much anticipated run of THE BOOK OF MORMON will continue through November 25, 2012.

Rocket Science, the new musical based on the HBO film of the same name, will enjoy a fresh look at its musical selections in concert at the upcoming NYTB in the D-Lounge, New York Theatre Barn's popular platform for up-and-coming new writers and musical projects, on Monday, September 10 at 7:30pm in the D-Lounge of the Daryl Roth Theatre.

Rock of Ages star Jodie Jacobs, Avenue Q star Rachel Jerram, the legendary composer-lyricist team behind Betty Blue Eyes and the forthcoming Soho Cinders George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, and I Love You Because book-writer and lyricist Ryan Cunningham will appear and perform in the second London edition of If It Only Even Runs A Minute at the Landor Theatre tonight, July 9th at 8pm.

If It Only Even Runs A Minute 10 is the tenth edition of this series of rare songs, behind-the-scenes tales, and inspiring photos from Broadway musicals that may not have been fully appreciated the first time around. Following its extremely well-received debut in April, the London series of If It Only Even Runs A Minute, celebrating the rare songs and behind-the-scenes tales of short-lived and underappreciated musicals, will return to Clapham North's Landor Theatre on Monday July 9th for its second edition. The concert is presented by Oliver Southgate and Lydia Grant, with Chris Bartlett and Georgia Thomas also returning to comprise the Runs A Minute Ensemble.

The Village Gate's Old-Fashioned Piano Party will play its last hurrah on Sunday, May 20, 9PM at The Gallery at le Poisson Rouge. The musical theatre themed open-mic night, created by Kevin Michael Murphy with music direction by Caleb Hoyer, has been delighting New York nightlife every Sunday night since October 2010. Over that time notable guests have included Kate Shindle, Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk, Adam Gown, Jason Michael Snow, Russell Fischer, and Jay Armstrong Johnson.
