'The Full Monty' is set in Buffalo, New York, where the local steel mill has just folded. Buddies Jerry and Dave have been laid off and are struggling to survive. He hires four other unemployed factory workers for the act and names their troupe, 'Hot Metal.' Unfortunately, the initial rehearsals are anything but hot.
