Academy Award nominee James Franco will narrate the audio edition of THE DEAD ZONE by bestselling author Stephen King. Simon & Schuster Audio will publish the King classic, which has never been available as an audiobook, on April 25 th, 2017.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) will present "Waiting for Lefty", which will be the first play directed by new Artistic Director Michael Bradford.  "Waiting for Lefty" will be paired with "Severance", a new one-act play by Levi Alpert.  Performances will be held in the Nafe Katter Theatre from February 23rd through March 5th 2017.

Lovers of opera will be delighted with the opportunity to hear the incomparable voice of  international Mezzo-Soprano Deborah Humble who, accompanied by pianist Sharolyn Kemmorley AM and the ASO's Imants Larsens, performs in Adelaide on 11 February.  Deborah will join the audience for afternoon tea following the performance. which is included in the ticket price.

The Dramatists Guild of America has announced the co-recipients of the 2017 Lanford Wilson Award are Christopher Chen and Martyna Majok.

Outward Bound USA will showcase its commitment to serving students from every background and circumstance at a formal event that brings together supporters from across the country on Today, October 18, 2016.

This fall, Second Nature, a thought-provoking opera with an environmental message, receives its Canadian premiere with the Canadian Opera Company's Ensemble Studio School Tour. Nearly 10,000 young people will experience live opera in their own communities when the touring production visits schools across Ontario from November 10 to December 4, 2016, and is presented in one public performance taking place on November 27 in Toronto.
