The Open Fist Theatre Company presents Moss Hart's classic and timeless comedy, LIGHT UP THE SKY which will be directed by Bj?rn Johnson. LIGHT UP THE SKY will preview on Saturday, January 10 at 8pm; Sunday, January 11 at 3pm and Thursday, January 15 at 8pm and will open on Friday, January 16 at 8pm and run through Saturday, March 7 at The NEW Open Fist Theatre, 6209 Santa Monica Blvd. (former home of The Actor's Gang) in Hollywood.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company announced that during the run of Mike Daisey's HOW THEATER FAILED AMERICA, there will be free industry roundtables following three performances to discuss the many issues raised in the piece. The roundtable discussions following performances on January 9, 12, and 16 will include local theatre administrators, artists, and funders.

Passage Theatre, Trenton's premiere professional theater company, will open its new season with the world premiere of The Summer House, written by Amber Kain, October 30 through November 23 (press opening: Saturday, November 1). The production, directed by Jade King Carroll, will be performed in Trenton's historic Mill Hill Playhouse (Front and Montgomery Streets).

Patrick Page, currently starring as Shakespearean actor-manager Jefffrey Cordova in Dancing in the Dark (based on MGM's The Bandwagon) at San Diego's Old Globe Theatre, will join the cast of Michael Kahn's staging of Hamlet at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC this Spring. The production will play ten free performances at the Carter Barron Amphitheatre in Rock Creek Park, May 22-June 1.
