The Kentucky Center presents UNDER THE STREETLAMP: ROCKIN' ROUND THE CLOCK on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 8 p.m. at the Brown Theatre (315 W. Broadway, Louisville).

Under The Streetlamp is coming to the Warner Theatre with support from CPTV, for a live, one-night only performance on Friday, March 24 at 8:00 pm.  Featuring former leading cast members of hit Broadway musicals including "JERSEY BOYS," Under the Streetlamp is a concert celebration of classic hits of the American Radio Songbook from the 1950s-1970s. Their shows feature tight harmonies and slick dance moves that take audiences back to an era of sharkskin suits, flashy cars and martini shakers. A flashback to a time when, on hot summer nights, people would gather under a streetlamp to sing their favorite rock and roll songs.

It's December 1968 and Judy Garland is about to make her comeback....again. In a London hotel room, with both her new young fiance and her adoring accompanist, Garland struggles to get 'beyond the rainbow' with her signature cocktail of talent, tenacity and razor-sharp wit. Featuring some of Garland's most memorable songs, this savagely funny play with music offers unique insight into the inner conflict that inspired and consumed one of the most beloved figures in American history. 

Award-winning Chicago dynamo Angela Ingersoll rings in the holiday season with her fun and festive one-woman-show The 12 Dames of Christmas at the Elgin Community College Arts Center.  Backed by a stellar band, Ingersoll takes audiences on a hilarious and heartwarming journey through the holiday songbook as she applies her impressively versatile voice to holiday classics by twelve legendary songstresses.  The 12 Dames of Christmas will be performed at the ECC Arts Center's Blizzard Theatre, 1700 Spartan Drive in Elgin on Saturday, December 10 at 7 p.m.

Porchlight Music Theatre announces the Chicago premiere of End of the Rainbow, November 4 - December 4,  featuring music from the songbook of Judy Garland, written by Peter Quilter, starring Angela Ingersoll as "Judy Garland," direction by Porchlight Music Theatre Artistic Director Michael Weber, music direction by Jon Steinhagen, who also appears as "Anthony," at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave.
