Seared, in association with Theatre 503, today announces the full company for its production of Years of Sunlight, a new play by Michael McLean which opens Lisa Spirling's inaugural season as Artistic Director of Theatre 503.

The Old Globe today announced it will present the fourth annual New Voices Festival-with a new moniker: the Powers New Voices Festival, a weekend of readings of new American plays by professional playwrights, playing January 13 - 15, 2017.

The Pre-Broadway engagement of FROZEN, a new musical based on Disney's Academy Award-winning musical film, will play The Buell Theatre August 17 through October 1, 2017. Denver Center for the Performing Arts' Broadway subscribers may purchase additional tickets December 12 at 10am.

As per a casting notice previously posted on BWW, a month-long lab for Disney's highly-anticipated stage adaptation of FROZEN begins today in New York City and will continue through Friday, November 18th.

Tony and Olivier Award-winning director Michael Grandage and Tony and Olivier Award-winning scenic and costume designer Christopher Oram are confirmed for the creative team of Frozen, a new musical based on Disney's Academy Award-winning musical film, slated to open at Broadway's St. James Theatre in spring 2018.  

Met Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi leads the opening performances of Mozart's Don Giovanni, starring Simon Keenlyside in his first Met performances of the title role, which he has sung to acclaim with numerous leading opera houses. The principal cast, all of whom are making Met role debuts, also includes Hibla Gerzmava as Donna Anna, Malin Bystromas Donna Elvira, Serena Malfi as Zerlina, Paul Appleby as Don Ottavio, Adam Plachetka as Leporello, Matthew Rose as Masetto, andKwangchul Youn as the Commendatore. The October 22 matinee, with this cast, will be transmitted worldwide as part of the 11th season of the Met's Live in HD series, which now reaches more than 2,000 movie theaters in 70 countries around the world.
