Simon Keenlyside Stars in His First Met Performances of the Title Role in Mozart's DON GIOVANNI

Met Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi leads the opening performances of Mozart's Don Giovanni, starring Simon Keenlyside in his first Met performances of the title role, which he has sung to acclaim with numerous leading opera houses. The principal cast, all of whom are making Met role debuts, also includes Hibla Gerzmava as Donna Anna, Malin Bystromas Donna Elvira, Serena Malfi as Zerlina, Paul Appleby as Don Ottavio, Adam Plachetka as Leporello, Matthew Rose as Masetto, andKwangchul Youn as the Commendatore. The October 22 matinee, with this cast, will be transmitted worldwide as part of the 11th season of the Met's Live in HD series, which now reaches more than 2,000 movie theaters in 70 countries around the world.

Sheridan Smith To Reprise Fanny Brice On UK Tour of FUNNY GIRL

Following critically acclaimed and record-breaking sold-out runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory and Savoy Theatre, Sheridan Smith will reprise her highly praised performance of Fanny Brice at selected venues for the UK tour of Funny Girl - she is set to perform in Manchester, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Bristol, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Newcastle, Southampton, Bradford, Southend, Cardiff and Dublin. Further casting will be announced shortly, and patrons should check with venues for the performance playing schedule.

KENNY MORGAN to Return to the Arcola with Original Cast

Arcola Theatre's production of Kenny Morgan will return for just four weeks this September after a sold-out premiere earlier this year. This critically-acclaimed new play is the latest drama by Mike Poulton (Tony nominated for his Broadway versions of Fortune's Fool, Wolf Hall, and Bring up The Bodies).

Kate Burton to Open Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama's NYC Showcase

With the increasing numbers of UK-trained actors on the major US media channels, the time is right for The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama's (RWCMD) inaugural US Actors Showcase in New York City. It will be held at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theater in the Signature Theater complex on September 26, 2016. The Showcase will be introduced by Emmy and Tony Award nominee Kate Burton, daughter of the great Welsh actor Richard Burton.

Casting Announced for Nigel Harman's Berkoff Double Bill

Shaun Dooley (Broadchurch, Cuffs, Misfits) and Emily Bruni (Peep Show, Life in Squares) are to star in a major West End season of Steven Berkoff one-act plays, Lunch and The Bow of Ulysses, directed by Nigel Harman, at Trafalgar Studios for five weeks from Thursday 6 October - Saturday 5 November.
