The cast for Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel, the third production in the partnership between The GradeLinnit Company and English National Opera (ENO), comprises Katherine Jenkins (Julie Jordan), Alfie Boe (Billy Bigelow), Nicholas Lyndhurst (Star Keeper), Derek Hagen (Jigger Craigin), Alex Young (Carrie Pipperidge), Brenda Edwards (Nettie Fowler), Gavin Spokes (Enoch Snow), Susan Kyd (Mrs Mullin), Amy Everett (Louise), Davide Fienauri (Carnival Boy) and Martyn Ellis (Mr Bascombe).

Nicholas Lyndhurst (Star Keeper) joins the previously announced Alfie Boe (Billy Bigelow) and Katherine Jenkins (Julie Jordan) in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel, the third production in the partnership between The GradeLinnit Company and English National Opera (ENO).

Richard Bean's new play Great Britain opened in the West End on September 26,following a sell-out run at the National Theatre. With a cast led by Lucy Punch andRobert Glenister, Nicholas Hytner's production now continues at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in a strictly limited season to 10 January 2015. Musical theatre royalty paid tribute to lyricist Don Black at the Royal Festival Hall last night as he celebrated 50 years in showbiz.

On October 3, Royal Festival Hall will present A LIFE IN SONG: LYRICS BY DON BLACK- a celebration of one of the world's most versatile lyricists, the Oscar-winning Don Black, with the man himself in attendance.

Today it is announced that Michael Ball will lead the stellar guest line up to perform and pay tribute at A Life In Song, Lyrics by Don Black at the Royal Festival Hall in London on 3rd October 2013 to the backdrop of the BBC Concert Orchestra. Only Men Aloud, Marti Webb, Mary-Jess Leaverland and Sir Richard Stilgoe will also to take to the stage.
