The Rose Theatre announces upcoming productions.

The Rose Theatre, Kingston has announced its revival of Michael Frayn's Here for a limited run, Thursday 19 April - Saturday 17 May.

Copenhagen, Michael Frayn's Tony award winning masterwork about the final conversation between Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg comes to Academy Theatre from April 27th until May 20th. Show times are 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 pm on Sundays.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, brings its hit production of MICHAEL FRAYN's NOISES OFF to its new Pasadena theatre for a brief run from Friday, January 6 to Sunday, January 15, 2012, reprising for eight performances the comedy that played to sold-out houses at its former Glendale venue during the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. Last night, I spoke to two-time Tony-winner Katie Finneran all about her new Fox sitcom I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER, co-starring Jaime Pressly, which premiered yesterday at 9:30 PM. Additionally, Finneran and I discuss her recent role in the terrific live performance film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's COMPANY, co-starring Neil Patrick Harris and Patti LuPone, and we also take a look back at her two Tony-winning Broadway roles from earlier this decade - the lauded Jeremy Sams revival of the comedy NOISES OFF, as well as Rob Ashford's revival of the Burt Bacharach/Hal David/Neil Simon PROMISES, PROMISES. Nearing the conclusion of a banner 2011 season, Jungle Theater Artistic Director Bain Boehlke today announced plans for 2012.

The Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre will honor esteemed stage actress Patti LuPone with the company's third Stephen Sondheim Award. The award, established in 2009 in honor of America's most influential contemporary musical theater writer and composer, will be presented at a black-tie Gala Benefit on April 16, 2012 at the Embassy of Italy in Washington, DC. Signature Theatre Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer said, 'I am thrilled that Patti LuPone will be this year's recipient of the Stephen Sondheim Award. With her wonderful performances in Gypsy, Sweeney Todd, Company, Passion, and more - she has had an amazing connection to Steve's words and music. It's wonderful to add her name to the distinguished honorees Angela Lansbury and Bernadette Peters. We look forward to saluting Patti and her extraordinary talents in April.'

Jonathan Coy, Janie Dee, Robert Glenister, Jamie Glover, Celia Imrie, Karl Johnson, Aisling Loftus, Amy Nuttall and Paul Ready have been cast in Michael Frayn's irresistible, multi-award-winning backstage comedy Noises Off, directed by Linsday Posner, which previews from 3 December, with a press night on 13 December 2011.
