A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, continues its inaugural season in its new state-of-the-art Pasadena venue with the announcement of its series of "FRIDAY NIGHT CONVERSATIONS," "FAMILY PACKAGE" matinees, and ASL-INTERPRETED PERFORMANCES, as well as the option of valet parking at the theatre for all performances.

"FRIDAY NIGHT CONVERSATIONS," free with admission on selected dates, offers
audiences the opportunity to continue their journey with each play after the
final bow with an informal dialogue in the form of music, dance, lecture or
discussion with the director and cast. Following the Friday, December 9
performance of Twelfth Night, Or What You Will, by William Shakespeare, set
in Cuba, audiences learn how to Salsa dance with the cast on A Noise
Within's new stage. After the Friday, December 16 performance, cast members
and Twelfth Night director Julia Rodriguez-Elliott, ANW
co-founder/co-artistic director, engage in discussion with the audience. On
Friday, December 2, after Desire Under the Elms by Eugene O’Neill,
international concert violinist Endre Balogh discusses how his original
music for the play serves a role similar to that of a Greek chorus.

A Noise Within's "FAMILY PACKAGE" is a specially priced 4- or 5-play
experience for the family that invites youngsters ages 6-17 to attend a
Sunday matinee performance with an adult or participate in an on-site
educational workshop featuring improv games, crafts and storytelling. The
"Family Package" is available for $142 per youngster for 5 plays or $115 for
4 plays with the purchase of an adult subscription series. Performance
dates are Sunday, December 4 (Twelfth Night, Or What You Will, by William
Shakespeare), Sunday, December 18 (Desire Under the Elms by Eugene O’Neill),
Sunday, January 15 (Noises Off by Michael Frayn, Sunday, April 15 (The
Illusion by Pierre Corneille, adapted by Tony Kushner), Sunday, April 29
(Antony and Cleopatra by William Shakespeare), and Sunday, May 20 (The
Bungler by Molière, translated by Richard Wilbur). All performances begin
at 2 pm.

New to A Noise Within this year are a series of ASL PERFORMANCES, generously
provided by Ellingsen Family Fund. ASL Performance dates for the company's
2011-12 season are Friday, December 2, 8 pm, for Desire Under the Elms;
Thursday, December 15, 8 pm, for Twelfth Night, or What You Will; Saturday,
January 7, 2 pm, for Noises Off; Friday, April 13, 8 pm, for Antony and
Cleopatra; Sunday, April 22, 7 pm, for The Bungler; and Sunday, May 6, 7 pm,
for The Illusion.

A Noise Within recently introduced VALET PARKING, available via the driveway
entrance on eastbound Foothill Boulevard just east of Sierra Madre Villa.
Free parking remains available at the Sierra Madre Villa Metro Station.

A Noise Within (ANW) is the only year-round classical repertory company in
Southern California and one of only a handful in the entire country
dedicated solely to producing classical dramatic literature in the repertory
tradition of rotating productions with a resident company of professional
artists. Led by Founders and Artistic Directors Geoff Elliott and Julia
Rodriguez-Elliott, A Noise Within has been hailed by critics as a “premiere
classical theatre company,” and an "outstanding ensemble" whose "vibrantly
theatrical" "brilliant productions" are "freshly imagined," "exceptional,"
"invigorating," "riveting," "brilliantly atmospheric," “inspired,” and
“masterfully crafted.” With substantially more space than its previous
Glendale venue, A Noise Within’s new theatre meets demand for tickets by
allowing annual audience capacity to increase from 25,000 to 50,000 people,
and the company's highly regarded education program will be able to double
to 20,000 the number of students served each year. Together, this allows A
Noise Within to expand its role as a leader in the presentation and
preservation of classical theatre.

Subscriptions and single tickets are now on sale. A NOISE WITHIN is located
on the corner of Foothill Boulevard and Sierra Madre Villa Avenue at 3352
East Foothill Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107. Valet parking is available via
the driveway entrance on eastbound Foothill Boulevard just east of Sierra
Madre Villa, and free self-parking is located in the Sierra Madre Villa
Metro parking structure, with entrances on northbound Sierra Madre Villa
Avenue or North Halstead Street. For more information and to purchase
tickets, call (626) 356-3100 ext. 1or visit www.ANoiseWithin.org.
