New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola has announced that Fetch Clay, Make Man, written by Will Power and directed by Des McAnuff, will begin performances Friday, August 23 at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. Opening night is set for Thursday, September 12 at 7pm. Fetch Clay, Make Man is scheduled to run through Sunday, October 13; tickets are on sale now.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater has announced the dynamic directors and creative teams selected for the 2013/14 Season, The Rep's 60th Anniversary. These talented directors and creative teams will help The Rep continue in its commitment to offer brave, challenging, entertaining, stimulating, thought-provoking and vital works with a distinctive aesthetic.

The Wetumpka Depot Players will present Michael Frayn's ingenious comedic masterpiece, Noises Off beginning July 11. Filled with slapstick humor and some of the funniest dialogue ever written, the show is an audience crowd pleaser.

Enrollment applications are being accepted now for Segerstrom Center's Six Days of Broadway summer musical theater camp, which returns to the Center's campus June 24 through July 7. Students will participate in week-long intensives that feature classes in musical performance, monologue interpretation, audition technique, scene work, dance and more. Tony Award nominee and Broadway/film star Erin Dilly returns to lead the program along with Broadway veterans Stephen Buntrock, Danny Gurwin, Hank Stratton and other guest instructors.

Aurora Theatre Company opens its 22nd season with the Bay Area Premiere of Obie-winning playwright Amy Herzog's (4000 Miles, Belleville, The Great God Pan) family drama AFTER THE REVOLUTION. Seth Rudetsky's and Patti LuPone's encore at the Leicester Square Theatre sent audiences into a frenzy Thursday night, June 20. Patti and Seth performed 'With One Look', marking the second time last week that LuPone had sung the number since her final performance of Sunset Boulevard in London in 1994. From Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26— and for the fourth consecutive year— the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine, will host New York City's Lincoln Center Institute's International Educator Workshop. Launched in 2010, the Farnsworth's strategic alliance with Lincoln Center Institute brings a world-class professional development workshop to Rockland each summer. The Farnsworth is pleased to announce that it is offering thirty scholarships to any full-time Maine teacher interested in attending the workshop. Through the first three years of the alliance, over 150 teachers, primarily from Maine, have attended.

There is an old adage in the theater: "Dying is easy. Comedy is hard." Comedy is certainly harder when the material is Noises Off, the ridiculously funny farce by Michael Frayn which was named "One of the Funniest comedies ever written" by the New York Post. Still, if the cast and crew at the Austin Playhouse had any difficulty with the neo-classic comedy, it certainly doesn't show. Their polished production is uproariously funny with each moment better than the last.
