Casting is announced for the UK tour of Michael Frayn's multi-award-winning backstage comedy Noises Off. Following its acclaimed run at The Old Vic and then at the Novello Theatre in the West End, Noises Off will tour theatres across the UK and Ireland from 27 March 2013.

The Boiler Room Theatre, Williamson County's original and longest-running professional theatre company, will kick off its 13th season with the side-splitting farce, Noises Off. The production will run from February 15th through March 9th at the theatre's iconic namesake venue in the historic Factory at Franklin, 230 Franklin Rd., Building Six, in Franklin, Tennessee.

Five of the entertainment world's leading ladies will perform in New Orleans in 2013 as Seth Rudetsky's popular Broadway Concert Series makes the leap to NOCCA's Lupin Hall from its summer home at The Art House in Provincetown, MA. Patti LuPone, two-time Tony winner for Gypsy and as the legendary original Evita, will appear for two shows only on January 7th at 6:30 and 8:30. Sutton Foster, two-time Tony-winner for this year's Anything Goes and previously for Thoroughly Modern Millie and star of the ABC Family series Bunheads arrives for one show only on March 2nd at 7:30. Megan Mullally, two-time Emmy-winning star of TV's Will and Grace and star of Broadway's Young Frankenstein performs two shows only on April 6th at 7:30 and 9:30. Audra McDonald, a five-time Tony Award winner and recent star of Porgy and Bess on Broadway and TV's Private Practice will make her New Orleans debut with two shows only on May 18 at 7:30 and 9:30. Betty Buckley, the Tony winning legendary star of Cats and Sunset Boulevard will close the series on June 1 with two shows only at 7:30 and 9:30. The visiting Broadway artists will also be giving master classes for the NOCCA Institute's high school-aged musical theatre students. All five concerts are produced by Mark Cortale, long time producer/manager of Jeffery Roberson aka Varla Jean Merman, and will be hosted by Sirius/XM radio star Seth Rudetsky at the piano. Aurora Theatre Company continues its 21st season with the World Premiere of OUR PRACTICAL HEAVEN from acclaimed playwright Anthony Clarvoe (Pick Up Ax, Show and Tell, Ambition Facing West). This family drama, which originated as one of Aurora Theatre Company's Global Age Project (GAP) finalists in 2011, is the third main stage production to develop from the GAP. OUR PRACTICAL HEAVEN plays January 25 through March 3 at the Aurora Theatre in Berkeley.

Opening in previews tonight, November 29 and running through December 30 at Trinity Rep, this powerful and intimate production features two brilliant characters - one in her fifties, one her twenties - each with her own take on the controversial debate surrounding the theory of female evolution. In this funny, gripping new play, a mentor and her protege bond and spar over the personal and professional consequences of their own diametrically opposed theories. Inspiring and provocative, this witty gem from Sarah Treem (of HBO's In Treatment) is both engrossing and powerful.

When Totem Pole Playhouse Artistic Director, Ray Ficca, announced in August that if emergency funds were raised, the 62 year old summer theatre would be back in 2013 with a season like no other in Playhouse history, he wasn't kidding. An expanded regular season, an unprecedented four musicals, Tony award winning and nominated shows, a production in downtown Gettysburg, and the biggest cast sizes in over 35 years, are just a few of many 'firsts' in this comeback season for the treasured theatre in Caledonia.
