On Wednesday, March 28th, Givenik.com will partner with the new Broadway show Ghost The Muscial for a special post-performance reception for audience and cast members at The Paramount Hotel (235 West 46th Street) to benefit Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), which funds innovative cancer research.

At the Whats On Stage audience awards, Ghost the Musical's Richard Fleeshman just won 'Best Actor in a Musical' for Ghost. Talking to press after winning, Fleeshman talked about changes to the show that have been made for the currently rehearsing Broadway production, noting that 'We've made it more focused. Some of the illusions have gotten even more incredible and the cast is bigger. It's been very exciting.'

Ghost the Musical, beginning previews March 15th with the opening date set for April 23rd, is directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus (God of Carnage, The Norman Conquests, Boeing-Boeing) and choreographed by Ashley Wallen (The X Factor, Kylie Minogue). Ghost The Musical is created by a team of Grammy and Academy Award winners, with a brand-new original score by Dave Stewart (half of the multi-Grammy Award winning Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard (Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror, Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill), with a book by Bruce Joel Rubin (Ghost, Jacob's Ladder, The Time Traveler's Wife), who has adapted his Academy Award winning original screenplay for the stage. This brand new score also includes the iconic song 'Unchained Melody,' famously performed in the film by The Righteous Brothers. In an unprecedented move for a Broadway musical, Facebook users were offered exclusive access to Ghost The Musical through the show's special event, The Ghost Light Sessions on Tuesday, January 24th. The producers of Ghost The Musical are pleased to announce that this unique video from The Ghost Light Sessions is now available for viewing on the show's You Tube page. The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre Box Office (205 West 46th Street) opens on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10am for Ghost The Musical. In addition, the production has exclusively released 50 tickets for the opening night performance on Monday, April 23rd at 6:30pm. In advance of the Broadway transfer of Ghost The Musical, Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy handed over the leading roles of Sam Wheat and Molly Jensen as they are headed for Broadway. Mark Evans (Welsh TV star and last on stage in the West End as Fiyero in Wicked) and Siobhan Dillon (finalist in Andrew Lloyd Webber's first reality TV show How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? and most recently on stage in the West End in Legally Blonde The Musical) will take on the West End roles on Friday January 13th. On Thursday, January 19th, Ghost the Musical will host The Ghost Light Sessions Live, a special sneak peek presentation at the historic Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. We will snuff out the ghost light, which is traditionally left on stage when the theatre is empty to ward off the ghosts of past productions, and welcome this extraordinary new musical to Broadway.

It's official! Ghost The Musical, currently running in London's West End, will open on Broadway on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater (205 West 46th Street). Preview performances will begin in March.
