Five-time Emmy Award-winning star Kelsey Grammer will make his Broadway musical debut opposite Olivier Award-winner Douglas Hodge in the Tony Award and Oliver Award-winning musical comedy, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES. The acclaimed Menier Chocolate Factory production that dazzled London will begin previews on April 6, 2010 and open on April 18, 2010 at Broadway's Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street).

Performed by Simon Green with musical arrangement and accompaniment by David Shrubsole, SIMON GREEN TRAVELING LIGHT begins performances on Tuesday, December 15 for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 3. Press opening is Sunday, December 20 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday at 7:30, Wednesday - Friday at 8:30 PM; Saturday at 6:30 PM and 9:00 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

West End's LA CAGE AUX FOLLES Prepares for Close January 2, 2010

Whatsonstage.com is reporting that The West End production of La Cage Aux Folles will close January 2, 2010, at the end of their current booking season. As previously announced, Douglas Hodge, the show's original Albin, will return from November 30th through the end of the run. He will also be part of the Broadway transfer in 2010.
