Five-time Emmy Award-winning star Kelsey Grammer will make his Broadway musical debut opposite Olivier Award-winner Douglas Hodge in the Tony Award and Oliver Award-winning musical comedy, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES. The acclaimed Menier Chocolate Factory production that dazzled London will begin previews on April 6, 2010 and open on April 18, 2010 at Broadway's Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street).

Performances began on Tuesday, November 24th, for the first Broadway revival of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC starring Academy Award-winner Catherine Zeta-Jones, five-time Tony Award®-winner Angela Lansbury and Olivier Award-nominee Alexander Hanson. Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's Tony Award-winning masterpiece A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, directed by Tony Award®-winner Trevor Nunn, opens on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the Walter Kerr Theatre.

According to the The New York Times, Kelsey Grammer is in talks to play Georges in the upcoming Broadway revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES.

Matthew White is to direct the Tony Award-winning musical Sweet Charity at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Sweet Charity previews from November 21 with press night on December 2, and runs until March 7, 2010.

The upcoming DVD 'An Evening with John Barrowman' is due for release in November 2009. The DVD contains over 55 minutes of extra features.

Victoria Wood is to direct a new version of her play Talent, a comedy with songs, previewing at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 17 September with press night on 23 September, and running until 14 November.

The West End's most glamorous musical, La Cage aux Folles, will officially close on January 2nd 2010 after more than a year in the West End.

Whatsonstage.com is reporting that The West End production of La Cage Aux Folles will close January 2, 2010, at the end of their current booking season. As previously announced, Douglas Hodge, the show's original Albin, will return from November 30th through the end of the run. He will also be part of the Broadway transfer in 2010.
