The Committee Theatre will present the world premiere of The Private Lives Of Eskimos, a new play by Ken Urban, directed by Dylan McCullough. Performances will begin September 8th, and continue through October 1st

Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA), whose current three-play season explores images of Jews as outsiders in the predominantly Christian society of pre-20th-century Europe, has scheduled four free staged readings of modern plays exploring the same controversial theme beginning February 5.

Charles L. Mee's new comedy The Mail Order Bride will have its world premiere at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre on 410 W. 42nd Street. Presented by Resonance Ensemble, it will run in repertory with one of the plays that inspired it: Molière's final satire The Imaginary Invalid
