A critically acclaimed singer-songwriter with one of the world's most distinctive voices, Michael McDonald makes his Cafe Carlyle debut October 23-November 3.

Veteran keyboardist David Garfield entered the year with a single in the Billboard Top 10 (“Go Home”) before announcing the details of his ambitious recording project, “Outside the Box.” The multidisc, multi-genre series of albums trickling out over a multi-year span features high-wattage assemblages of Grammy winners, legends, hit-makers and prominent musicians including members of the Zac Brown Band, Steely Dan, Tom Petty's Heartbreakers, The Doors, Chicago, Toto, Tower of Power and The Meters.

Today Courtney Barnett shares the video for “Charity,” taken from her recently released album Tell Me How You Really Feel. The video, by respected cinematographer Ashley Connor and shot to glorious 16mm film, captures fly-on-the-wall footage of Barnett and her band spending a day in Toronto, Canada. Sony Crackle today announced that the network's upcoming original comedy series 'Rob Riggle's Ski Master Academy' will debut today, August 23, with a special advance debut on Amazon Fire TV through the Sony Crackle app starting Monday, August 13. Now entering its 56th season, the New York Youth Symphony (NYYS) is launching a Musical Theater Composition (MTC) program, to be led by newly-appointed director Anna K. Jacobs. In a partnership with the Harlem School of the Arts, this new program aims to diversify the world of musical theater by creating opportunities for young composers to have their compositions workshopped and performed by both peers and professionals.

Critically acclaimed Sacramento musical artist Hobo Johnson reveals the dates for his “Bring Your Mom Tour” this fall. He hits the road on this headline run starting October 4 at House of Blues in New Orleans, LA and performs in major markets coast-to-coast before closing out the six week jaunt on November 21 at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, TN.

Music Mountain, America's longest running summer chamber music festival, continues its 89th season with another thrilling weekend of music. The sixth of the Six-Concert Complete Beethoven String Quartet Cycle featuring the incomparable Shanghai String Quartet will be presented on Sunday, September 9 (3pm).
