Williamstown Theatre Festival recently celebrated the playwright Martyna Majok. Majok's play Cost of Living won the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2018 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play. Michael John LaChiusa will create a musical adaptation of Cost of Living under the auspices of Williamstown Theatre Festival's Andrew Martin-Weber New Play & Musical Commissioning Program, with special funding from The Ted & Mary Jo Shen Charitable Gift Fund.

Four of Broadway's most celebrated stars will join Mark Cortale's "Broadway @ The Art House" concert series this month in Provincetown. Judy Kuhn, Tony-nominated star of "Fun Home" and Broadway's original "Les Miz" and the voice of Disney's "Pocahontas" returns to P-Town on July 15 & 16 at 7:00 PM; Adam Pascal, star of the original Broadway cast of "Rent," as well as the film version lights up the Art House stage on July 17 at 6:00 PM; Christine Ebersole, the two-time Tony Award winning star of "Grey Gardens" and "War Paint" appears on July 19 & 20 at 6:00 PM; Will Swenson, Tony nominee for the revival of 'Hair' and most recently a star of the hit musical comedy "Disaster!," performs on July 28 & 29 at 7:00 PM. Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky joins each performance as pianist and host.

Featuring 15 instruments, 25 songs, and comprised almost entirely of Guthrie's own words, Woody Sez runs August 1-26 on the Leonard C. Haas Stage in Malvern.

Sony Crackle today announced that the network's upcoming original comedy series 'Rob Riggle's Ski Master Academy' will debut on Thursday, August 23, with a special advance debut on Amazon Fire TV through the Sony Crackle app starting Monday, August 13. In addition, the free streaming network unveiled additional guest stars joining the series, including Dermot Mulroney ('My Best Friend's Wedding'), Christopher McDonald ('Happy Gilmore'), Noël Wells ('Master of None'), David Arquette ('Amanda & Jack Go Glamping,' 'Cleaners'), Jamie-Lynn Sigler ('The Sopranos'), Jamie Chung ('Big Hero 6'), Haley Joel Osment ('Future Man,' 'Silicon Valley') and more. The ensemble joins previously announced guest stars Paul Scheer and Richard Anthony 'Cheech' Marin. The network also released new photos from the highly anticipated eight-episode summer series.

School of Rock, the leader in performance-based music education, is hitting the road this summer. After a nationwide search for the top students in School of Rock's more than 200 schools and more than 30,000 students, seven AllStars bands have been chosen to tour the country and play a full-band show at top music venues throughout the U.S. The tours kick off at the end of July and will hit top cities including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and more.
