Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company announces its next production of Season 36: The Nether, by Blackburn Prize-winning playwright Jennifer Haley. Directed by Shana Cooper and featuring notable D.C. actor Ed Gero in his first appearance at Woolly, The Nether will run from April 4 to May 1, 2016.

Jane Austen's love story between proud Mr. Darcy and prejudiced Elizabeth Bennet receives a lively adaption at Center Stage.

Center Stage announces the cast and creative team of Pride and Prejudice, the first show of its 2015/16 Season. The play begins performances Sept. 11, with opening night set for Sept. 18.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Broadway production this fall, Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater mounts a new staging of Fiddler on the Roof, the iconic musical that has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Helmed by Artistic Director Molly Smith, the production features choreography by Arena favoriteParker Esse, who adapts the original Jerome Robbins choreography for an in-the-round staging, and a 10-piece orchestra led by Musical Director Paul Sportelli (Arena's My Fair Lady, Light in the Piazza). Coming of Age, a theatrical song cycle - a collection of short stories about growing up - will have its New York premiere this summer as an Official Selection of the 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) celebrating its 11th Anniversary Season. With a book, music and lyrics by Jon Provan, Coming of Age will be presented at Ford Foundation Studio Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Aves.). Directed by Ryan Pifher, performances will begin on July 7th and continue through July 13th.
