'S Wonderful: The New Gershwin Musical will be coming to the Colonial on September 30 at 7:30PM. Former 'Saturday Night Live' and Comedy Central star Colin Quinn will move his one-man show Colin Quinn Long Story Short, directed by Jerry Seinfeld, to Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre for an 11-week limited engagement. Preview performances begin on Friday, October 22nd and will officially open on Tuesday, November 9th. The production will play through Saturday, January 8th.

Berkeley's Aurora Theatre Company announces the directors for the company's sixth Global Age Project (GAP) festival of new works: Aurora Theatre Company Artistic Director chose Allen McKelvey, M. Graham Smith, Jonathan Spector, and Tracy Ward to sit on this year's GAP Director's Council. Over the next several weeks, the directors, along with Ross, will select finalists from an international pool of play submissions dealing with global age concerns. Four plays will be chosen to be presented as staged readings during the GAP festival, scheduled for February of 2011. The GAP festival will coincide with the company's fully-staged World Premiere of 2010 GAP finalist Allison Moore's new comedy, COLLAPSE, the second main stage production to develop from the GAP.

The opening night of Circumcise Me, a new comedy written by and starring Yisrael Campbell celebrated opening on November 18th. Directed bySam Gold (Circle Mirror Transformation, Jollyship The Whiz Bang), Circumcise Me began previews Off-Broadway at The Bleecker Street Theater (45 Bleecker Street just East of Lafayette Street) on November 1st. The show is produced by Evelyn McGee Colbert and Eva Price for Maximum Entertainment Productions.
