This autumn Ken Stott, Anna Friel and Samuel West are united together on stage for the first time in one of Anton Chekhov's undisputed masterpieces, Uncle Vanya. Adapted by Christopher Hampton, Uncle Vanya uniquely blends sparkling wit and earthy humour to brilliant comic effect. Directed by Lindsay Posner with designs by Christopher Oram, this new production opens at the Vaudeville Theatre on 2 November 2012 with previews from 24 October.

Composer/lyricist Neil Bartram and book writer Brian Hill, Drama Desk Nominated authors of Broadway's The Story of My Life, will workshop their newest musical Something Wicked This Way Comes, adapted from the novel by Ray Bradbury, with the Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre at the University of Oklahoma in October 2012.

In 2005 Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Theatres sold his four playhouses, the Lyric, Apollo, Garrick and Duchess theatres to Nica Burns and Max Weitzenhoffer who formed Nimax Theatres Limited, adding the Vaudeville Theatre in 2008. Today Burns and Weitzenhoffer are also the proud owners of the spectacular Palace Theatre with its prime location on Shaftesbury Avenue, currently home to Stage Entertainment's hit revival of Chichester Festival Theatre's Singin' in the Rain.

David Suchet returns to the West End stage in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer prize-winning masterpiece, Long Day's Journey Into Night, following his critically acclaimed performance in Arthur Miller's All My Sons last year.

Open Stage presents this new holiday offering as part of its Subscription Series at The Angino Family Theatre. The comedy opens (of course) on Black Friday.

A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to The Forum, the Tony Award-winning musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim?, book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, opened February 18 in the Rupel J. Jones Theatre at the University of Oklahoma and continues through February 27.
