Hannah Yelland, Bruce Dow, Antoinette Robinson, and More to Star in Shakespeare Theatre Company's TWELFTH NIGHT

Continuing its 2017 2018 Season, Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) presents Twelfth Night. Directed by internationally acclaimed director Ethan McSweeny and featuring Antoinette Robinson (previously announced) as Viola and Tony Award-nominee Hannah Yelland as Olivia, Shakespeare's comic tale of unrequited love will run at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) from November 14 December 20, 2017.

Tickets Now On Sale for DanceWorks 40th Anniversary!

MOonhORsE Dance Theatre Celebrates Age on Stage

Older & Reckless, MOonhORsE Dance Theatre's celebrated series curated by Artistic Director Claudia Moore, presents its 40th edition featuring 15 world-class artists, 2 duets, 3 solos and a community work. Special guest renowned ballerina Evelyn Hart in a new work by Matjash Mrozewski, dynamic duo Ric Brown and Darryl Tracy in a duet by Lesandra Dodson (New Brunswick), moving dance force Heidi Latsky (NYC), Older & Reckless favourites Daniel Firth and Jane Mappin (Montreal) plus the masterful Sashar Zarif, take to the stage Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11 for three shows only at Harbourfront Centre Theatre.

Red Sky Performance and Toronto Symphony Orchestra present the World Premiere of ADIZOKAN

On October 7 at Roy Thomson Hall, Sandra Laronde (Teme-Augama Anishinaabe), Founder and Artistic Director of Toronto's Red Sky Performance, curates and directs ADIZOKAN, a World Premiere/Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) Commission. Exploring Indigenous connections to ancestral origins, this new genre-defying creation features Indigenous vocals, electro-acoustic, orchestral music, dance and film.

Theatre Gargantua Celebrates 25th Anniversary with World Premiere

Toronto's acclaimed Theatre Gargantua (TG) proudly presents the world premiere of its newest production Reflector, conceived and directed by Jacquie P.A. Thomas, written by Michael Spence and developed with an award-winning cast and creative team. Reflector opens as the highlight of Theatre Gargantua's 25th Anniversary Season on Friday November 3 (with a preview on November 2) and runs to Saturday November 18 in the Mainspace at Theatre Passe Muraille. Tickets are on sale today, August 22. Reflector explores how a single photograph can blaze humanity into acts of courage, generosity and understanding, and why certain images stand out in a world of 2.5 billion cameras.

Cahoots Theatre and Obsidian Theatre present OTHER SIDE OF THE GAME

Set before the rise of Black Lives Matter, OTHER SIDE OF THE GAME is a time-spanning work that tells the story of silenced Black women who organize communities, protect loved ones, battle institutions, and live each day by a ride-or-die philosophy. This first-time partnership between Cahoots and Obsidian also marks the professional playwriting debut for Amanda Parris.

Jennifer Dallas Awarded 5th Annual Patrick Conner Award

The Patrick Conner Award Committee has announced that the recipient of the 2017 Patrick Conner Award is JENNIFER DALLAS. The Award will be presented at a ceremony to be held at The Theatre Centre on Monday, September 18 at 7:00pm (doors at 6:30pm). The Award Ceremony is free and open to the public.

A testament to the transcendent power of love and music takes center stage as South Coast Repertory opens its 2017-18 season with the multi-award-winning Once. The musical-book by Enda Walsh; music and lyrics by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova-is based on John Carney's Academy Award-winning indie film of the same name. Brian Stokes Mitchell to Make Provincetown Debut at The Crown & Anchor This August

Producer Rick Murray will present two-time Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell in his Provincetown debut, Sunday August 6 for two performances only, 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. in the Paramount Theatre at The Crown & Anchor. Mr. Mitchell will be accompanied by acclaimed music director and conductor Mark Hummel.
