GOD OF CARNAGE's Marcia Gay Harden, will appear as a guest with the ladies of ABC's 'The View,' on Tuesday, March 3 between 11:00AM-12:00PM on channel 7. GOD OF CARNAGE, which will star Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Harden, begins performances this Saturday, February 28 at 8PM. The new play by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton, directed by Matthew Warchus, will open on Sunday March 22 at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45 Street).

French playwright Yasmina Reza brings her latest play, God of Carnage, to Broadway under the direction of Matthew Warchus, who has already brought three of her plays to New York over the last decade. It is again translated by longtime British collaborator, Christopher Hampton. Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini, and Marcia Gay Harden will star, with previews beginning on February 28 at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45 Street) and officially opening on March 22. God of Carnage is what press notes describe as 'a comedy of manners without the manners. The play deals with the aftermath of a playground altercation between two boys and what happens when their parents meet to talk about it'.

Tickets go on sale on Sunday, February 22 for The Old Vic's critically acclaimed production of THE NORMAN CONQUESTS, a comedy trilogy of plays by Alan Ayckbourn, directed by Matthew Warchus. BAM and The Old Vic announce The Bridge Project Benefit, celebrating the inaugural year of repertory co-productions from BAM, The Old Vic, and Neal Street Productions. The February 17 event begins at 6pm with cocktails and dinner onstage at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House followed by an 8pm performance of Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale at the BAM Harvey Theater, directed by Sam Mendes and featuring a star-studded, transatlantic cast including Simon Russell Beale, Sin?ad Cusack, Richard Easton, Rebecca Hall, Josh Hamilton, and Ethan Hawke. The evening concludes with a post-performance dessert reception with the cast onstage at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House. 2009 Olivier Award Nominations Announced - La Cage & Donmar Lead Pack

Nominations have been announced for this year's Laurence Olivier Awards, London's equivalent of the Tonys. The awards, which were created in 1976 will be given out on Sunday March 8, 2009 in a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

Kevin Spacey Directs World Premiere of COMPLICIT for Old Vic's 2009 Season

Boeing-Boeing Flies Off of Broadway Today; Tour Launches This Fall

The 2008 Tony Award Winning Best Play Revival, Boeing-Boeing, will play its final Broadway performance on Sunday, January 4, 2009, when the current cast's contracts end. Upon closing, Boeing-Boeing will have played 280 performances and 17 previews. The critically acclaimed comedy, which recouped its entire $2.65 million investment this September, will launch a 45-week national tour this fall. Prior to its Broadway engagement, Boeing-Boeing enjoyed a wildly successful run at London's Comedy Theatre from February 2007 - January 2008.

The UK's Daily Mail is reporting today that James Gandolfini, Marcia Gay Harden, Hope Davis and Jeff Daniels may star in the U.S. production of the UK hit 'The God of Carnage,' a new play by Yasmina Reza ('Art'), opening on Broadway this Spring. Matthew Warchus who directed the acclaimed UK production will repeat his duties for the Broadway version.
