JERUSALEM, the critically acclaimed and multi-award winning play by Jez Butterworth and starring Tony and Olivier Award-winner Mark Rylance (Boeing-Boeing, La Bête), began previews on April 2, at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). The production, directed by Ian Rickson, opens tonight, April 21 and will play a limited 16-week engagement.

After wildly successful runs both in London's West End and on Broadway, where it won the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play, God of Carnage opened last night at Center Theatre Group's Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles in a theatrical tour-de-force that is sure to be the talk of the town.

Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy lead the cast of Ghost The Musical playing Sam and Molly in Matthew Warchus' stage musical version of the Academy Award® winning film. Accompanied by Sharon D Clarke as Oda Mae Brown and Andrew Langtree as Carl, Ghost The Musical has new music and lyrics by Grammy® award winning Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard as well as featuring the iconic song Unchained Melody. Oscar® winning Bruce Joel Rubin has adapted his original screen play for the stage. Set and costume designs are by Rob Howell, choreography is by Ashley Wallen with musical supervision and arrangements by Christopher Nightingale, illusions by Paul Kieve, lighting by Hugh Vanstone and projection design by Jon Driscoll. Matthew Wachus directs.

Sony Pictures Classics to Release GOD OF CARNAGE Film

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures Classics will release Roman Polanski's upcoming big screen adaptation of God of Carnage. The film features John C. Reilly, Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet and Christoph Waltz in the new version of Yasmina Reva's Tony-winning play. The movie will likely be released by the end of 2011.

The George Street Theatre will present Yasmina Reza's God of Carnage as a pat of its 2010-11 season. Performances will begin May 10 and run through June 6. The production, which will be directed by David Saint, will feautre Betsy Aidem, Christopher Curry, James Ludwig and Ann Harada.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for the U.S. premiere of Alan Ayckbourn's new comedy, Life of Riley. Directed by Richard Seer, Life of Riley will run in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of The Old Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, April 30 - June 5. Preview performances run April 30 - May 4. Opening night is Thursday, May 5 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.TheOldGlobe.org, by phone at (619) 23-GLOBE or by visiting the Box Office at 1363 Old Globe Way in Balboa Park.

GHOST: THE MUSICAL Releases Single for Cancer Research

Led by artist and musician Dave Stewart, Ghost The Musical and the charity Stand Up To Cancer today announce a new collaboration. Stewart, whose latest project Ghost The Musical will have its world premiere in the UK this Spring, is a long standing ambassador for the international grassroots charitable movement Stand Up To Cancer. The new single will be the first-ever theatrical single to benefit cancer research.
