Romance was in the air at Feinstein's/54 Below this past Friday, February 14th on Valentine's Day! A Broadway Valentine's Day featured some of the theatre's favorite lovebirds for an evening of heartfelt and hilarious stories coupled with some of Broadway's greatest love songs.

From "Jailhouse Rock" to "Stand By Me," from "Spanish Harlem" to and "On Broadway," Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller wrote some of the most enduring rock-n-roll hits ever recorded. This summer, talented high school and college-age musical actors will bring the hits to life in Smokey Joe's Cafe, the annual collaboration between the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) Arts Education department and the New Jersey Youth Theatre (NJYT).

Since their inception in 1996 the Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) Rising Star Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theatre have ignited the careers of many notable performers, all of whom attended high school in New Jersey.
