The Tampa Museum of Art and Creative Loafing present Gasp! The Gasparilla Fringe Festival, a multi-disciplinary performing arts festival, today, March 27th, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Tampa Museum of Art (120 Gasparilla Plaza in Tampa).

freeFall's popular Tandem Series just got wilder as NYC Cabaret stars, THE SKIVVIES come to freeFall for two late night performances on March 26 & 27 at 9:30pm on Thursday night and 10:30pm on Friday night. Imagination Stage, in Bethesda, has scored yet another home run with its production of THE BFG, adapted by David Wood, OBE, from Roald Dahl's children's novel, and directed by Kathryn Chase Bryer and Eric J. Van Wyck. Parents will find themselves laughing along with their kids at Dahl's and Wood's irreverent humor, including an extended riff on the biologically impolite results of reversing the direction of the bubbles in soda pop. The more mature members of the audience will chuckle at the modern cultural references. This production is a must-see.

Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project presents A Prelude to Pride: 'All About Steve,' a play on the 1950's classic film starring Bette Davis and Anne Baxter. This variation stars Scott Daniel and Matthew McGee of 'Scott and Patti' fame, as well as other talent from around the Bay Area.
