Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis announces the Indiana premiere of Nina Raine's Tribes. Opening January 9, 2014 in the Livia and Steve Russell Theatre at the Phoenix, this show runs through February 9, 2014 and will be directed by Purdue University Professor and Coordinator of Undergraduate Theatre Studies, Richard Rand.

While completing high school together at Hunter in Manhattan, friends Alec Grossman and Rachel Kaly set out to write a play. Today, they have grown into college students, and their play, the aptly-named The Adventures of Boy and Girl, has grown along with them: it is entering its second production at the New York Fringe Festival following a performance in 2011 at the Stella Adler Theater in Hollywood.

Four-time Tony nominated and Drama Desk Award-winning actress Tovah Feldshuhhosted the event which took place last month at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place). The Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street) presents Douglas Carter Beane's new play The Nance directed by Jack O'Brien, which opened last night, April 15. This production features Jenni Barber, Andrea Burns, Cady Huffman, Mylinda Hull, Nathan Lane, Geoffrey Allen Murphy, Jonny Orsini and Lewis J. Stadlen. Lincoln Center Theater will present The Nance, a new play by Douglas Carter Beane to be directed by Jack O'Brien. The production will begin previews on Thursday, March 21 and open on Monday, April 15 at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45 Street).
