Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport announced today that Tony Award winner Nathan Lane will return to the Broadway's biggest hit comedy It's Only a Play in the role of James Wicker on March 31, 2015 and will continue with the production through its scheduled closing date of June 7, 2015. Lane departed It's Only A Play on January 4, 2015 due to a previously scheduled commitment with the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) staging of The Iceman Cometh.

Originally announced as a limited engagement through January 4th, It's Only a Play was recently extended through March 29th at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street), where it will now play through June 7th. Tickets are now on sale for all performances. Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has just announced that film star Amanda Seyfried (Les Miserables, Dear John, Mamma Mia!, upcoming Ted 2 and Pan) will make her off- Broadway debut opposite Thomas Sadoski (The Newsroom, Wild, upcoming in NBC's The Slap) in the upcoming world premiere production of NEIL LaBUTE's drama, THE WAY WE GET BY.
